Veteran Indian Actor Shashi Kapoor no more

Veteran and legendary Indian actor Shashi Kapoor, the youngest son of Prithviraj Kapoor passed away at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday. He was 79 at the time of his demise. He had been suffering from a kidney ailment.

Shashi Kapoor won the coveted Padmabhushan by the government of India in 2011. He was also awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke award in 2014. He is survived by three children, Kunal Kapoor, Sanjana Kapoor and Karan Kapoor.
