39-year-old Emmanuel Macron, the youngest President in the country’s history and the 8th President of France’s Fifth Republic, was inaugurated on Sunday as France’s new President at the Elysee palace in Paris.

US delegation calls on Dalai Lama


A US delegation led by House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi called on Dalai Lama at his headquarters in India. They welcomed each other according to Indian tradition. The delegation was in India on a tour. They discussed current issues in a cordial atmosphere, reports say.

Moon Jae-in sworn in as South Korea’s new president


Moon Jae-in, former human rights lawyer, took his oath of office in Seoul's National Assembly building a day after his decisive win. He has vowed to address the economy and relations with the North korea in his first address and expressed his willingness to visit Pyongyang under the right circumstances.

Macron wins French Presidential poll


Emmanuel Macron, 39, Centrist candidate won the French Presidential poll by securing 66.06% votes and becomes the country's youngest president. He is also considered as the first president from outside the two traditional main parties since the modern republic's foundation in 1958.
