GMOA Trincomalee branch complains of poor quality drugs at hospitals

President of the Trincomalee branch of the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) Dr. Seneviratne has stated that the drugs supplied to hospitals are of a poor quality and doctors are unable to provide high quality treatment to patients. The expiry dates of certain drugs are limited to a short period.

He was addressing the media at the auditorium of the Trincomalee General Hospital recently. Several members of the Association were present at the press briefing.
