Consul General of India in the North S. Balachandran declared open new India funded buildings at eight schools in Jaffna, Killinochi and Mannar in the northern peninsula recently. Northern Province Education Minister, K. Sarveswaran. Principals, teachers, parents and past pupils of the schools were present.


Newly constructed buildings of four schools in Kinniya were declared open by Parliamentarian Imran Mahroof at simple ceremonies recently. The four schools are Alihar Maha Vidyalayam, Al Mina Vidyalayam, Yusoof Vidyalayam and Tharul Ulum Vidyalayam.
