Sri Lanka Cricket Team visits Cancer Hospital in Maharagama

Sri Lanka Cricket team on Tuesday visited the Apeksha Cancer Hospital in Maharagama and donated medicines worth Rs. 1 million to the hospital.

 The donation was handed over by the Sri Lanka Cricket CEO, Mr. Ashley De Silva to Dr. Buddika Kurukulasuriya, the Deputy Director of the Apeksha Hospital.

The event was organised by the Cricket Aid , the Charity Arm of Sri Lanka Cricket established in 2004, under the guidance of the Minister of Sports Honorable Faiszer Musthapa.

They also handed over gifts to nearly 50 children who are being treated at the Department of Pediatric Oncology at the Apeksha Hospital.
