Lanka- China Industrial Zone office declared open in Hambantota


The Sri Lanka-China Logistics and Industrial Zone Office was declared open at a simple ceremony in Hambantota on Saturday, Nov 4. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe was the Chief Guest.

Addressing the event, Premier Wickremasinghe stated that the Sri Lanka-China Logistics and Industrial Zone was an important milestone in the strong ties between Sri Lanka and China.

Ministers Mahinda Amaraweera, Mahinda Samarasinghe, Sagala Ratnayake and Chinese Ambassador in Sri Lanka Yi Xianlang participated. Several dignitaries from China and Sri Lanka were also present at the event.
