EPRLF will not ally with ITAK, but remain in TNA:Suresh

EPRLF Leader and former Tamil National Alliance Parliamentarian Suresh Premachandran has stated that the Elam People’s Revolutionary Liberation Front will not have any alliance or work in collaboration with Ilankai Tamil Arasu Katchi in its political journey in the future.

He however stressed that the EPRLF will remain as a constituent party in the Tamil National Alliance.

He made these observations addressing the media at the Jaffna Press Club. He charged that ITAK stands in the way of TNA being registered as a political party. It functions in contravention of the Tamil people’s mandate. TNA spokesperson said TNA would accept the Interim Report which does not meet the aspirations of the Tamil people. It is a breach of the mandate given to the TNA by the Tamil people.
