Iykkiya Samathana Kootany Secretary General former State Minister M.T. Hassan Ali has charged that the Muslim Parliamentarians who voted for 20 A must seek public apology from the Muslim people since their conduct has endangered not only the wellbeing of their community but also democracy in the island.
He made this charge while addressing a press briefing in Ninthavoor in Batticaloa recently. He added that the lame excuse given by them that they did so following an assurance to allow cremation was a lame one and unacceptable. This excuse only reveals only their political immaturity.
