Health Minister Pavithra tests positive for COVID-19, undergoes treatment at Quarantine Centre

Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi is currently undergoing treatment at an intermediate hotel quarantine centre in Hikkaduwa on being tested positive for COVID-19. She tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, January 22.

She is the fifth Parliamentarian to be tested positive for COVID-19. The other Parliamentarians are State Ministers Dayasiri Jayasekara, Piyal Nishantha, Rauff Hakeem and Vasudeva Nanayakkara.
