Batticaloa High Court acquits Parliamentarian Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan

Batticaloa High Court on Wednesday, Jan 13 acquitted Parliamentarian Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillayan who had been a suspect in the case of the murder of former Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Parliamentarian Joseph Pararajasingham.Four other suspects were also released.

Earlier on the last date of hearing, the Attorney General’s Department informed the Court that it had decided not to continue with the case.
