New Cabinet of Ministers and State Ministers sworn in

25 cabinet Ministers
New Cabinet and State Ministers were sworn in at a ceremony held at the historic Magul Maduwa, the Audience Hall of Kandy Royal Palace at the Sri Dalada Maligawa premises on Wednesday, August 12 under the patronage of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and with the participation of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. 

District Co-ordinating Committee Chairmen were also sworn in.  The swearing in ceremony commenced with the religious blessings of all faiths including the Maha Sangha.

The New Cabinet Ministers are as follows :
