Sri Lanka reports another death due to Coronavirus, fatalities rise to 3

Sri Lanka has reported another death due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

The deceased was a 73-year-old male and a resident of Maradana. He had been a travel agent by profession.

He was initially receiving treatment at the Sri Jayawadenapura Hospital and transferred to the IDH in Angoda, where he died on admission on Wednesday, April 1.

With his death, the number of fatalities due to the virus has risen to 3, in Sri Lanka.

Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe stated that the deceased was suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure and chronic kidney failure.
