Envoys of Middle East call on Premier Mahinda
Ambassadors of Middle East based on Sri Lanka called on Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on Thursday, December 5, and held talks. Their meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Temple Trees.

The ambassadors who were present at the meeting were from Oman, Palestine, Iraq, Egypt, Kuwait, Libya, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

All the ambassadors expressed their fullest support to the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the government of Sri Lanka in building cooperation not only in the economic sphere, but in the cultural sphere as well.

The chairman of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Prof. G.L. Peiris, Secretary to Prime Minister Gamini Senarath and Senior Advisor to Prime Minister Ajith Nivard Cabraal were also present at this meeting.
