President calls for co-existence at Bosco festival

President Maithripala Sirisena has stressed that all religious groups in the country have the right to practice their religions without any discrimination. Our government will ensure that right. We will not let religious hate to cause disharmony.

He made this observation in his address at the Bosco Festival held in Batticaloa today. The annual event was held for the third time this year in the country under the auspices of Federations of Preachers. Minister Rauff Hakeem, Eastern Province Chief Minister Nazeer Ahamed were also present.
