Mahinda calls on Modi


Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa called on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday and held formal discussions. His eldest son Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa was also present.

Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived in India at the invitation of BJP leader Subramanian Swamy to deliver a talk in Delhi at a forum organized by Virat Hindustan Sangam. The theme of his talk is 'India-Sri Lanka relation: the way ahead'.
