GCE Advanced Level Examination commences today, August 6

321,469 students sit the GCE Advanced Level examination 2018 that commences today, Monday, August 06 at 2,268 centres throughout the island. The examination will conclude on September 1. Majority of them, 244,146 are school candidates.

Officials of the Department of Examinations have taken steps to prevent students from using modern equipment such as smart phones and other high-tech devices to cheat. The department has urged candidates to confirm their exam dates and time and arrive at the exam centers early with a proof of identity. The National Identity Card, passport, or driver's license can be used to prove the identity of the candidates.
