Communist Party boycotted Jana Bala Sena protest: DEW Gunasekera

Communist Party Secretary DEW Gunasekara has stated that the Sri Lanka Communist Party did not participated in the 'Jana Bala Sena' protest rally organized by the Joint Opposition in Colombo.

Explaining the reasons for the boycott, DEW Gunasekara explained that their party boycotted the rally as the joint opposition has no common objective.

He stressed that initially parties in the Joint Opposition must spell out their political objectives. Then rallies could then be organized on the basis of the agenda agreed upon by the parties in the JO.
