Journalists hand face masks to protect from viral fever in Matara

Face masks are distributed to visitors to Matara hospital in order to protect them from viral infection under a program initiated by the Matara Journalists' Association.

The program was drawn up following reports of high prevalence of viral fever in the Matara district. The association also distributed handbills among the public to educate on measures they can take to control the viral fever epidemic.
