Moratuwa University New Year celebration became unique for it was declared open by three damsels representing the Sinhalese, Tamil and Muslim communities symbolizing national unity.
It was organized by the Students’ Council. The celebration was held with the participation of all employees in the university. The President of the Students’ Council of the Moratuwa University Dasun Udara Wijesekera was among those who addressed the event.
