A chariot procession was held on Thursday, November 22 in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka to mark the 93 rd Birth Day of Bagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba with the participation of devotees - males, females, children from all walks of life. The annual event of chariot procession was organized under the patronage of Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Colombo. At the commencement of the event a wonderful and touching bhajan was sung by devotees.

President of the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Colombo Centre Udayanayagam Sivanayagam delivered an introductory talk at the outset.

The chariot procession commenced from the Centre in New Chetty Street and wound its way through was Vanrooyan Road, Green Road, Messenger Street, Vivekananda Hill, Jampettah Street and returned to the Centre.

Devotees living all along the route of the procession were highly elated that Bagawan Baba was arriving at their doorsteps to bless them on that auspicious day. They kept traditional Kumbam and received the blessings.
