The two day 2nd International Conference held at the Jaffna University was inaugurated on Friday under the patronage of with Jaffna University Tamil Professor Dr. K. Visakaroopan.

At the commencement of the Conference the statue of Poet Thiruvalluvar was garlanded by scholars from Sri Lanka and abroad.
